In honor of the American holiday the 4th of July, the Chevrolet brand is also celebrating the launch of an all-new vehicle. The return of the Chevrolet Trax.
2024 Chevrolet Trax Specs
Looking at the Dimensions: 4,537mm length, 1,823 wide, 1,560 tall, 2,700mm wheelbase, and 186mm ground clearance, we can tell that the all-new Trax is built to compete with the likes of the GAC EMKOO, and Ford Territory. In terms of design, the Trax carries a very modern and sleek look with sculpted lines and blacked-out rims just to make it look sporty rather than soft.
Both the Redline and RS variants have an 11-inch infotainment screen and an 8-inch multi-informational digital display cluster. The lower LT variant has an 8-inch infotainment screen and a 3.5-inch monochrome multi-information screen. Strangely, no matter what variant you choose there is no Apple CarPlay only Android Auto is available.
The only engine option available is a 1.2-liter turbocharged in-line-three gasoline engine that makes 137hp and 220Nm of torque, this engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic that powers the front wheels.
Safety-wise the Trax comes standard with a lot of features, all variants get 6 airbags, enhanced stability control, forward-collision alert, following distance indicator, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, enhanced front pedestrian detection, low-speed imminent collision braking, integrated brake assist, and vehicle forward-movement detection.
