Ford Territory, the American automotive brand’s latest mid-size SUV, is coming to the Philippines.
The 2020 Ford Territory is targeted for professionals and small families. According to Ford Philippines managing director PK Umashankar, the upcoming vehicle is designed “to empower the modern Filipino drivers who don’t want to compromise on features, space, technology, and versatility.”
The five-seater SUV is powered with a 1.5L EcoBoost engine mated to a CVT transmission. Among its safety features include a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and active park assist with parallel and segment-first perpendicular parking function. Inside are adjustable leather power seats with cooling and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with multi-viewing and wireless charging. It also has four, 18-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic moonroof.
Among the 100 countries under the Ford, the Philippines is the first one to debut the all-new Ford Territory. This move aims to boost the brand’s presence in the small and mini-SUV segments.
The Ford Territory is slated to launch in the country this August 2020.
