Important 2023 Bar Exam Traffic Advisory: Pasay, Muntinlupa road closures

As a supplement to our 2023 Bar Exam advisory on QC and Manila traffic schemes and road closures, here’s yet another public service announcement. This time, it covers information on involved streets and roads in the cities of Pasay and Muntinlupa. The latter is issued by Las Pinas City as its neighbor city Alabang in Muntinlupa, home to San Beda College Alabang, is expecting traffic to build up on the exam dates that are scheduled on September 17, 20, and 24, 2023.

Expect some traffic jams in these areas on the 2023 Bar Exam dates

Expect the full closure of San Juan Street in Pasay City for the 2023 Bar Exam on September 17, 20, and 24, 2023. As the Manila Adventist College has been assigned as a testing venue, the stretch of San Juan Street from Donada to Leveriza will be closed off to traffic on the aforementioned dates but only from 3:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Traffic is expected to build up along Alabang-Zapote Road, specifically near Don Manolo Boulevard given that San Beda College, Alabang is yet another designated testing venue for the 2023 Bar Exams. As such, the city of Las Pinas is advising motorists to plan their travels accordingly. The specific stretch wherein the build-up of vehicles is expected can be seen in the photo above.

The City of Las Pinas is also reminding Friendship sticker holders that they may use the alternative routes provided to avoid traffic congestion.

Again, the 2023 Bar Exams are set for September 17, 20, and 24, 2023. Given different venues in different cities, modified traffic schemes and road closures may be implemented at different times on these days. It goes without saying that you must make yourselves and others aware, and if it can be helped, avoid these areas so as not to be caught in possible gridlock.

As before, good luck to all examinees, and to those who have to brave the traffic!
