April 23 Fuel price update: Good for diesel, bad for gas, down PHP 0.95 and up PHP 0.55, respectively
Here we go, folks. This week’s fuel price update can be good or bad, depending on the fuel type that you use. The price hike streak of diesel will be broken as its prices are scheduled to go down tomorrow, April 23, by PHP 0.95 per liter. It won’t be good news for those who use gasoline, though, because it will again get a price increase of PHP 0.55 per liter.

The fuel prices of both gasoline and diesel have gone up in the past two weeks. Tomorrow will be a bit of a change, specifically for diesel users because it’s scheduled for a rollback. Gasoline users won’t be as happy, though, because prices per liter will continue to rise. Respectively, there is a reduction of PHP 0.95 and an increase of PHP 0.55 come tomorrow. As always, we can expect different brands to adjust prices at different times.
Cleanfuel and Seaoil will be the first to update pump prices, they will do so at 12:01 AM on April 23. Most of the other brands will do the same later in the morning, 6:00 AM, and this will include players such as Petron, Shell, Caltex, Unioil, and Petro Gazz, among others.
