Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) announced that it will maintain the current prices of the Isuzu D-MAX despite the newly imposed excise tax on pickup trucks. The unchanged pricing applies to existing stocks, with adjustments to take effect once the current supplies are depleted.

The move comes as welcome news for buyers during the peak sales season, as other brands have begun implementing price increases due to the tax. IPC stated that this ensures the D-MAX remains a practical choice in the market.

“Now is truly the best time to experience the Isuzu D-MAX. We are holding off price increases on current stocks while supplies last. This buying season, we encourage customers to experience the strength, dependability, and value that the Isuzu D-MAX delivers,” said Robert Carlos, IPC Sales Division Head.
The D-MAX has long been popular in the Philippines for its durability, fuel efficiency, and versatility, serving both business and personal needs. IPC is also promoting the model through the Isuzu Xperience Mobility Tour, which is ongoing at major malls nationwide. Visitors can test drive the D-MAX and avail of exclusive offers, including a ₱35,000 low downpayment option on select variants under the Isuzu D-MAX Power Plus Deals promo.
