Maxus car brand arrives in the Philippines, launches G10, V80 vans

AC Industrials’ 6th automotive brand, Maxus, has arrived in the Philippines, and along that are two main van-type vehicles that are introduced — the G10 and the V80.

The Maxus G10 is a 9-seater MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) that comes with a 60:40 split rear bench seat, 7-inch touchscreen radio with USB and Bluetooth, 6-speaker system, 220-volt power supply, and front and rear air-conditioning system. It features double-layer welding technology, side airbags, 3-point seatbelts, ISOFIX Child seats, McPherson suspension at the front, and 5-link coil springs at the rear. It is powered by a Euro4 1.9-liter diesel engine equipped with VGT charger (6-speed automatic transmission) that produces 150Ps (maximum) power at 4,000rpm torque, 350Nm at 1,800 – 2,600rpm.

The Maxus V80, on the other hand, comes with three variants — the V80 Comfort, V80 Flex, and V80 Transport. The V80 Comfort is a 13-seater vehicle that has a 2.5-liter CRDI diesel engine with VGT, can load up to 1.1 tons of mass, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX, and proximity sensors. The V80 Flex only has 3-seats while the V80 is the largest as it can accommodate 18 persons at the same time.

  • Maxus G10 – P1,680,000
  • Maxus V80 Comfort – P1,570,000
  • Maxus V80 Flex – P1,190,000
  • Maxus V80 Transport – P1,288,000

Maxus Philippines also stated that its aftersales services for customers will have a periodic maintenance service (PMS) with an interval schedule of the first 5,000kms and every succeeding 10kms, or once a year, whichever comes first. The general warranty is 3 years or 100,00kms, whichever comes first. There is also a 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, pick-up and delivery service, and on-site servicing for corporate fleet accounts.
