Nissan PH lowers price of Kicks due to BEV classification

Sometime last year Nissan PH was able to get a new classification for the Kicks, instead of being a hybrid it now falls under the Battery electric vehicle (BEV) class.

With this, we speculated that Nissan would hopefully bring down the prices because BEVs enjoy 0 tariff benefits.

Nissan PH drops Kicks prices

Lucky for us, they listened and a new price announcement has been made today.

Nissan Philippines is pleased to announce the new suggested retail price (SRP) for the Nissan Kicks e-POWER, effective today.

The new pricing reflects Nissan’s commitment to making electrified vehicles more affordable and aligns with the government’s initiatives to promote a greener future through incentives and support that further drive the adoption of electric vehicles in the country, making environmentally friendly options more accessible to the public. Additionally, Nissan recently extended the battery warranty of the Kicks e-POWER from five years to eight years, reinforcing Nissan’s confidence in the quality of the vehicle.
