Good news! May 14 Fuel price rollback, gas down PHP 2.00, diesel PHP 0.50
Last week’s fuel price rollback was very welcome news given the previous streak of increases. Tomorrow brings more good news because both gasoline and diesel prices are again slated to go down. What makes it better is that it’s going to a bigger rollback tomorrow, with gasoline going down PHP 2.00 per liter and diesel by PHP 0.50 per liter. Some cause for celebration, yes?

It’s safe to say that it hasn’t been all good news as far as fuel prices go in 2024. Yes, we’ve had some rollbacks, but the total amount that gas and diesel have gone up has yet to be recouped by a string of rollbacks. Hopefully, this 2nd week will start a trend; now that would be really great news for everyone.
12:01 AM will see some stations update their prices; specifically, Cleanfuel will be the first to do so. Later in the morning – 6:00 AM – the majority of players will follow suit with the reduced pump prices, and this includes Shell, Petron, Unioil, and Seaoil, among others. Regardless of the time, we can be sure to get lower prices per liter across all brands.

Not to sit on our laurels, we still have to make sure that we save as much fuel as we can, yes? That said, we do have some tips that may be able to help you do just that. We can never be sure of what fuel price movements are in store for motorists week after week, so being wise about our usage can help us get the most out of our top-ups.
