In the past few months, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) managing body has gone through some changes. With the seemingly overwhelming foot traffic and demand for flying, the airport needed fresh management and possibly capital to rejuvenate the archaic systems and improve service.
NAIA parking overnight fee price hike
Yesterday a memo was making the rounds on social media and various news outlets stating the possible increase of overnight parking fees at the NAIA airports.
This memo states that for private vehicles, new 24-hour parking rates are seen to jump to 1,200 Philippine Pesos every 24 hours, and it’s 480 for motorcycles, and 2,400 for busses.
Furthermore, the memo from NAIA is signed by General Manager Angelito Alvarez who says the fee increase was proposed to ensure that proper maintenance and improvements to the airport’s facilities are met.
No word yet as to whether this memo and the prices reflected in it are confirmed and 100% implemented already, as upon checking the Manila Airport Authority Website, no official announcement has been made yet.
