The City of Manila has published a traffic advisory ahead of the Bar Exam 2024 dates. On September 8, 11, and 15, the following traffic scheme covers closures and rerouting in and around the areas of the University of Santo Tomas and San Beda University. Best to take heed and plan your travels on these dates accordingly.
Bar Exam 2024 road closures and rerouting schemes
You can refer to the specific roads that are affected and on what dates following the images below.
UST Area, September 8 & 11 (Sunday and Wednesday)
- Assisted traffic along España Blvd (two westbound lanes from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for drop-off and pick-up purposes only.
- Road closure at Dapitan Street (from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) from 2:00 AM to 7:00 PM
San Beda Area, September 8, 11, and 15 (Sunday, Wednesday, and Sunday)
- Road closure at Mendiola Street (both lanes, from Peach Arch to Malacañang Gate) from 2:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Road closure at Concepcion Aguila Street (both lanes from Mendiola Street cor. Jose Laurel Street) from 2:00 AM to 7:00 PM
UST Area, September 15 (Sunday)
- Assisted traffic along España Blvd (two westbound lanes from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- Road closure at España Boulevard (all westbound lanes from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Road closure at Dapitan Street (from Lacson Avenue to Padre Noval Street) from 2:00 AM to 7:00 PM
The dates above are when the Bar Exam 2024 will be held, and as such, it’s best to remember them and perhaps save this page for reference on the said dates. No different from the past years, Bar Exam 2024 will see an increased volume of vehicles in and around the above-mentioned areas, and with traffic being rerouted and some streets closed off, you’ll need to know where you can pass and what places to avoid.
