The Nissan Patrol is one of the most legendary nameplates still being sold today. Its roots and success can be traced back to its rugged, dependable, and reliable abilities, in more recent years it has become a luxury off-roader with most of its sales coming from well-off individuals and 4×4 enthusiasts.

2024 Nissan Patrol Warrior
Last year the brand teased an upcoming version of the Patrol, now an actual car has been revealed; the 2024 Patrol Warrior. This more off-road-focused version was done in partnership with Premcar an Australian engineering company. The exterior updates were chosen to be subtle, it gets a new front skid plate, black fenders, side mirrors, Warrior decals, and a new towbar.
At first glance the Patrol Warrior looks basically the same as the standard car, however, the Warrior upgrades focused mainly on improvements to the suspension and chassis. This was done in order to give the Warrior much better off-roading capabilities, It gets a 1.1mm suspension lift kit along with 18-inch wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar G015 295/70 all-terrain tires. This gives the Warrior an extra 2 inches of lift and a ground clearance of 323mm.
The track has also been widened by 1.5 inches, along with new front springs, multi-rate rear springs, new progressive-rate rear bump stops, a reconfigured Hydraulic Body Motion Control (HBMC), a 40-degree approach angle, and a 23.3-degree departure angle. Powering this beast of an SUV is the 5.6-liter naturally aspirated V8 that makes 405 PS and 560 Nm of torque, it is then paired to a 7-speed automatic transmission with intelligent 4WD. Accompanying the powertrain are front and rear limited slip differentials, and a bi-modal exhaust system that utilizes valves to either be loud or quiet.
In Australia, the 2024 Nissan Warrior will cost around AUD 101,160 which is around PHP 3.687 million, unfortunately for us, it is also only available in right-hand drive.
