Good news! First batch of all-new 2023 Honda BR-V units finally arrives

The all-new 2023 Honda BR-V was a highly-anticipated model since it was revealed at this year’s PIMS. With some delays in unit delivery hounding the brand, many thought that their units of the new 7-seater would be affected. Alas, the first batch has already landed on Philippine soil and this could be good news for buyers.

Honda BR-V units should be available to customers sooner than later

2023 Honda Br-v Main

With its launch slated precisely 2 weeks from now, the arrival of the first batch of units can be considered a pretty good omen. The pandemic and microchip shortages have been the bane of any manufacturer, Honda included (specifically for the HR-V), and with new models being released, a delay in purchase delivery is off-putting, to say the least.

Last week, Honda Cars Philippines proudly announced on their official social media page that units have landed. For anyone who has placed reservations or purchased the all-new 7-seater, they might not have to wait too long.

2023 Honda Br-v Dashboard

The Honda BR-V will have 4 variants, 2 transmission options, and 5 colors available in the country. The details are as follows:

  • S, Manual Transmission = PHP 1,100,000
  • S, CVT = PHP 1,190,000
  • V, CVT = PHP 1,300,000
  • VX, CVT = PHP 1,390,000

Color options are Taffeta White (S CVT and S MT), Meteoroid Grey Metallic (new color; all variants) Lunar Silver Metallic (all variants), Crystal Black Pearl (V CVT and S CVT), Premium Opal White Silver Pearl (new color; VX CVT and V CVT). As expected, the Premium Opal White Silver Pearl will have PHP 20,000 added on top of the standard prices.

2023 Honda Br-v Engine

Powering the BR-V is a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine, mated with either a manual transmission or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to deliver a smooth, refined, and engaging driving experience. It will also have a higher ground clearance compared to the outgoing model, will feature a 7″ touchscreen infotainment system, and will feature the addition of the brand’s proprietary safety suite, Honda Sensing.

2023 Honda Br-v Rear Quarter

For those whose interests have been piqued, reservations for the 2023 Honda BR-V are still ongoing. We must confess that aside from looking a heck of a lot better than the previous model, there are a lot more reasons to be excited about the BR-V. It will most definitely improve on an already-winning formula, and with Honda‘s added tech and safety features, a better 7-seater MPV is something we can look forward to with this all-new offering.

Yes, we’re just excited as you are!
