2023 Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid finally launched in PH, Prices, Specs and Features
During the 2022 Philippines International Motor Show (PIMS), Suzuki teased the public by showcasing the hybrid version of their 7-seater MPV offering; the Ertiga.
At the time the brand wasn’t sure yet when they could launch the vehicle, but that time has come. Suzuki has just launched the Ertiga Hybrid and here are the headline specs.

Based on the exterior looks the brand choose not to go with a full update instead, they changed some key exterior pieces just to update the look. It now sports a more “modern” grille and a hybrid tailgate badge just to separate it from the normal Ertiga. Interior wise it pretty much still resembles the current Ertiga, it still has the faux wood pattern and clean modern lines.
Drivers can focus on the road with cruise control and audio system controls integrated into the D-shaped steering wheels with premium quality design accents. It is also equipped with 10-inch touchscreen audio with Smartlink connectivity.
The New Ertiga Hybrid is packed with passive and active safety features. Aside from the usual dual airbag and ABS with EBD, the new Ertiga is equipped with hill-hold-control and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) to keep you in better control of the vehicle. The Ertiga’s body structure revolves around Suzuki’s TECT (Total-Effective Control Technology) and new HEARTECT platform, which makes the body light and rigid and effectively absorbs impact upon collision, and improves overall driving dynamics.
Power and Hybrid System
This smart hybrid vehicle has a powerful and fuel-efficient 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 106 PS and 136.8 Nm of torque. It is then paired with either a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual. An Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) replaces the conventional alternator that has the functionality of charging the battery and electric motor while providing assistance during standing starts and acceleration. Engine Auto Stop-Start System (EASS) automatically stops the engine when the vehicle is idle to prevent unnecessary fuel consumption, and limit the emission of exhaust and engine noise for a quiet ride while saving money.
Fuel efficiency
According to Suzuki, the Ertiga Hybrid is capable of reaching 12.54 km/L or 7.6% better than the regular engine Ertiga on city driving.
Price, Colors, and Variants
The new Suzuki Ertiga comes with a variety of choices in colors in GA and GL/GLX features. Snow White Pearl, Silky Silver Metallic, and Cool Black Pearl for the GA variant. While additional colors of Metallic Magma Gray, Burgundy Red Pearl, and Brave Khaki Pearl are available for the GL/GLX variants.
As for the price, well Suzuki is the king of affordability and it continues with the new Ertiga Hybrid. It comes in 4 variants and retails for GA M/T Php 954,000, GL M/T Php 1,068,000, GL A/T 1,103,000, and GLX A/T Php 1, 153,000.
