The Audi Q7 gets significant updates

Audi has again enhanced its flagship family SUV, featuring a refreshed design and improved technology. The updated exterior design highlights the SUV’s robust character, offering versatile space for up to seven passengers. The HD Matrix LED headlights with laser technology, a first for the Q7, now include digital daytime running lights with selectable signatures. The digital OLED rear lights with four designs further enhance the lighting options. With new wheels, colors, decorative inlays, and seats with contrasting stitching, the Audi Q7 provides even greater customization options.

The latest upgrade builds upon the second-generation Q7’s design, introducing a more robust and elegant appearance. The exterior features Audi’s modern design language, emphasizing minimalist form, clean surfaces, and a sense of volume. The updated front-end architecture, including the upright Audi Singleframe with an octagon design and prominent air intakes, contributes to the Q7’s powerful and distinctive presence.

Audi has simplified decorative elements to achieve a purist look, and distinctive elements differentiate the base version from the S line exterior package. Optional Black and Black Plus optics packages, along with new headlight designs and digital OLED rear lights, further enhance the premium-class character of the Q7.

The headlights, featuring HD Matrix LED technology with lasers, offer extended functionality and design options. The digital daytime running lights with selectable signatures and digital OLED rear lights contribute to the SUV’s powerful expression. The optional Black and Black Plus optics packages add striking accents to the exterior.

Audi has expanded the Q7’s customization options with new decors, colors, and wheels. The equipment range includes nine decorative inlays, and three new metallic finishes – Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red – offer a sporty appearance. The wheel range introduces five new designs ranging from 20 to 22 inches.

The Q7’s infotainment system receives updates, allowing passengers to use popular third-party apps directly. Driver assistance systems, including the surroundings display, are upgraded, offering features like lane change warning and traffic light info online. The standard equipment now includes 19-inch alloy wheels, a rearview camera, and high beam assist.

The Q7’s suspension, steering, drive, and braking systems contribute to a balanced, solid, controlled, precise, and effortless driving experience. The optional electronically controlled air suspension with adaptive damping, available for the SQ7 TFSI, enhances ride comfort and versatility. All-wheel steering, standard on the SQ7 TFSI, improves safety and comfort at different speeds.

The Q7’s drive systems include efficient V6 engines with mild hybrid technology. The range includes diesel and gasoline options, with up to 3.5 tons of towing capacity. The SQ7 TFSI, featuring a V8 engine, delivers sporty performance and a redesigned exterior. The SQ7 TFSI now runs on the 4.0 TFSI with 500 hp, achieving 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds.

The five- and seven-seat interior offers a spacious and luxurious atmosphere. The luggage compartment, featuring an electrically powered tailgate, provides ample storage space. Optional rear seat plus allows individual adjustments for all three seats, accommodating three child seats and offering a third row of electrically folding seats.

Audi Philippines’ SUV/crossover range has been doing relatively well, so we could expect the new Q7 to grace our shores very soon.
