Subaru Forester GT Wild Edition
This prototype of the Forester GT Wild Edition is Southeast Asia’s take on the Wilderness Edition offered in North American markets. What makes it unique among all the other variants is its use of a special anti-glare decal on the hood and bold matte black decals on the front bumper, sides, and tailgate.
The interior features an 8-inch head unit with support for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 8-way power adjustments for driver and front passenger seats, and premium leather upholstery which is also used on the steering wheel, creating a luxurious and comfortable interior environment.
Under the hood sits a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated Boxer Engine that delivers a maximum of 156 HP and 196 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT and the brand’s renowned Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. It comes equipped with Subaru’s X-MODE, which includes specialized settings for driving in snow, dirt, and even mud, and comes with rugged Yokohama Geolander all-terrain tires. Subaru WRX Sedan GT Edition
Another prototype makes its way to Subaru’s lineup for MIAS 2024, and it’s the WRX Sedan GT Edition that you see here.
Motor Image partnered with renowned engineering firm Giken Co. Ltd and eminent Subaru designer Masahiko “Jack” Kobayashi to develop the WRX Sedan GT Edition to produce this specific “variant” of the WRX. Catering to the true enthusiasts, its aggressive aerodynamic extensions to the front, sides, and rear seamlessly fuse with the bold STI grille, creating a striking exterior that hints at the performance-tuned chassis refinements within.
Subaru BRZ STI Kit
STI, the epitome of all things Subaru performance gets a preview with the prototype BRZ kit. It aims to take the BRZ’s aerodynamics to the next level by providing greater high-speed stability and enabling sharper, more agile directional changes. The result is a sports car that responds to the driver’s every command with precision and confidence.
Surprisingly, the kit applies to both the exterior and interior. Red accent stitching and stripes make their way onto the leather upholstery and even the door cards, and on the outside, you’ll find a carbon fiber wing, as well as a front splitter, both greatly contributing to aerodynamic improvements that in turn result in better and sharper handling.
As a treat, Motor Image Pilipinas is also set to bring back world-renowned stunt driver and Guinness World Record holder, Russ Swift, to this year’s MIAS. The Russ Swift Stunt Show is an annual motoring event that brings together car enthusiasts from all over the Philippines.
In a heartwarming gesture, all proceeds from the Russ Swift Stunt Show will be donated to the Roman Catholic welfare institution, Hospice De San José, located in the city of Manila. This initiative reflects Motor Image Pilipinas’ commitment to giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Seems like Subaru and Motor Image Pilipinas have given us all the reasons to pay them and MIAS a visit, yes?
