Hyundai reveals the new design of their latest MPV lineup, the STARIA.
According to Hyundai, the STARIA is designed to provide next-level mobility solutions, making transit more accommodating for families and businesses. STARIA’s exterior features a defined fluid curve running from the front to back. This design is inspired by the halo that illuminates Earth’s horizon during sunrise when viewed from space. Hyundai identified the STARIA’s exterior design with a resemblance to a ‘spaceship.’
In terms of color, Hyundai uses the same body color for all frontal parts with lowered beltlines and expansive panoramic windows. This is inspired by a Korean architectural style called a hanok, making the passengers feel spacious and connected to the environment.
Vertical tail lamps are installed on the vehicle’s rear side. However, the lowered rear bumper is designed to provide ease to passengers when loading and unloading cargo.
The Premium model’s radiator is designed in a unique mesh pattern. The 18-inch wheels of the variant-exclusive include diamond patterns.
The driver’s cockpit includes a 10.25-inch front display screen with touch-based center fascia and a button-type electronic shift lever. The digital cluster is displayed on the dashboard of the driver.
The 7-seater STARIA model includes a one-touch relaxation mode on the second-row which automatically reclines the seat to a position comfortable for the passenger. The 9-seater model has added a swivel of 180-degrees for the second-row seats.
Hyundai STARIA will be available in multiple variants with various seating configurations. STARIA offers several seating arrangements, from 2-seater to 11-seater, making it suitable for both families and businesses. On the other hand, the STARIA Premium, its high-end variant, is available in 7, 9, and 11-seat configurations with exclusive design cues and interior upgrades. The 64-color ambient mood lamp is also made available for all the STARIA Premium variants.
Hyundai will officially reveal STARIA through a digital world premiere in the first half of 2021. Stay tuned to our page for more updates!
