There are very few passenger commuter vans left for sale in the market, of course, the top of mind would be the Toyota Hiace and the Nissan Urvan.
These two vans have been duking it out over the years as the chosen people haulers of the Philippines, most of the tourist destinations in the country are populated with these vans.
So naturally, given the popularity of vans, it would be important to keep updating them, thankfully Nissan got the memo and has decided to update the Urvan.
Nissan Urvan NV350 Updates
The main highlights of the update for the 2023 Nissan Urvan are aesthetic. First up are the changes to the front fascia, such as the reworked bumper and the grille is now very similar to the one found on the Navara pickup. The Urvan now also features the new brand logo placed front and center on the grille.
Inside the changes are the new steering wheel shape which is now a D-cut type, or specifically it looks like the steering wheel found in most of Nissan’s vehicles. There is also an updated radio for the 2023 Urvan, while the seating arrangement for the Urvan remains either a 15-seater layout or an 18-seater layout.
The engine remains the same, it is the familiar YD25DDTi which puts out 127 hp and 356 Nm of torque. Transmission options are either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic for the Urvan Premium.
