A couple of months ago, we wrote how Pasig City was offering free bike lessons on Emerald Avenue in the Ortigas business district. The Pasig City Information Office posted on their official Facebook page that the free bike lessons program is coming back on Independence day, specifically tomorrow June 12, 2022.
Pasig Free Bike Lessons
According to the post, the lessons will start at 7:00 am and end at 10:00 am, no registration is required but Covid protocols are still in place, meaning face masks are still a must.
More People’s Streets
Apart from the free bike lessons program, the Facebook post also announced that starting on Independence day more streets in the city will be classified as “People’s Streets” during weekends. The People’s Streets program was also just recently launched, wherein certain streets in Pasig will be closed from vehicular traffic and will be used by people for socializing, exercising, and other people-centric activities.
