Finally, after months of speculation and a short preview during the 8th PIMS, Honda has finally given a date as to when the all-new 2023 Honda BR-V launch will be.
Honda BR-V launch date and details
Based on a post on Honda Philippines’ official Facebook page, the Japanese automaker is set to launch the all-new Honda BR-V on November 21, 2022.
Despite being previewed during PIMS, Honda has kept their cards close to its chests by not revealing or confirming any information and specifications. What has been confirmed however are the variants that will be sold, they are as follows:
- S M/T
- S CVT
- V CVT
- VX CVT
What’s interesting is that Honda will be offering (for the first time) a manual version of the BR-V, we certainly hope to be able to get our hands on that one.
As for other specifications, the engine will likely be the 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC and could possibly make the same output as the City Hatch, City Sedan, and HR-V S. If this proves to be true, then the Honda BR-V could produce 119PS and 145Nm of torque.
It must be noted though that while the launch is still a few weeks away, those interested can head over to Honda dealerships to reserve a unit for themselves.
