The 10th Generation of the known Civic line of sedan from Honda is here and it has all the impressive feat the Japanese brand has to offer.
The Honda Civic 2016 sports a refined sporty design giving it a coupe-like appearance complimented with Signature LED Lighting from the headlights, running lights, and even the C-Shaped tail lamps. If opting for the top-of-the-line variant Civic RS Turbo, you’re getting an RS Design 17-inch alloy wheels, gloss black front grille, wing type trunk spoiler, chrome door handles, LED fog lights, and an RS emblem.
In terms of performance, it’s got a DOHC VTEC Turbo Engine with a max torque of 22.0kg-m at 1,700-5,500rpm, and a max power output of 173 PS at 5,500 rpm for the RS Turbo variant while the 1.8-liter engine option produces a max torque of 17.4 kg-m at 4,300 rpm, and a max power of output of 141 PS at 6,500 rpm. Both variants are mated to a continuously variable transmission, no manual transmission, but the RS Turbo is getting additional paddle shifters.
The sporty interior has soft-touch materials while an additional leather outfit is given for the RS Turbo. The new Civic has a multi-information display, a 7-inch touch panel for entertainment and other controls. There’s also a nifty Walk-away Auto Lock feature that automatically lock the doors when the smart key is 2.5 meters away from the vehicle.
