A long-forgotten (but much loved) nameplate is making a return; specifically the Toyota Lite Ace is making a comeback in a slightly different form.
Toyota Lite Ace Details
The all-new Toyota Lite Ace is set to return as a light commercial vehicle (LCV) instead of the super-mini van it was before. According to Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), this was done “To support the goal of continuous inclusive economic growth and to address the evolving needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.”
The All-New Lite Ace will come in more than one body type, prioritizing loading capacity and efficiency as a people and goods mover.
The All-New Toyota Lite Ace will be also officially unveiled to the public on July 15 at the Farmers Plaza activity area at Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City. Displays of the new model with demonstrations of the use and capability of the different vehicle types can be visited by customers until July 17.
“The launch of the All-New Lite Ace will bring us even closer to fully realizing our goal of Mobility for All,” said Sherwin Chualim, TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations. “With TMP’s entry into this new vehicle category, we aim to empower and enable more Filipino business owners, whether they’re just starting or looking to expand. Our goal is to help them progress and maximize income through a Toyota vehicle that’s simple to acquire, reliable to use, and easy to maintain.”
Those who visit the July 15 launch can look forward to Toyota Financial Services (TFS)’s newest package which gives customers the option to avail of a weekly payment scheme.
The retail price of the All-New Toyota Lite Ace will start at Php570,000.
