The luxury arm of the Toyota company will soon be launching a new three-row SUV; the Lexus TX. How do we know? well, the brand just shared its first teaser of the vehicle.
Lexus TX teaser
Although the teaser has been revealed, it honestly doesn’t show much about the TX except for the rear quarter panel shapes and curves. One of the more obvious design choices has to be the floating roof design.
No other specific details have been revealed yet, but the TX is known to be based on the Toyota TNGA-K platform which was introduced in the Toyota Grand Highlander. It will be a 3-row SUV and will of course feature a more upscale interior that will feature the brand’s best tech features. It would be safe to speculate that the TX will more or less have the same performance figures as the Grand Highlander which has a hybrid max powertrain that makes 362 PS.
There is no word yet as to the exact date the TX will be revealed in all its glory, but with a teaser already dropped we can assume that the global reveal is looming. Expect the TX to slot between the RX and bigger GX SUVs in the Lexus lineup.
