The all-new Mitsubishi Triton has finally landed in the Philippines–Starting at P1,134,000

After months of eager anticipation, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially launched the highly awaited All-New Triton, looking to take over the cutthroat mid-size pickup segment.

Marking a significant shift in MMPC’s pickup lineup, the All-New Triton, with its revamped design and features, underscores the company’s dedication to delivering vehicles that surpass expectations. The transition from the “Strada” to the “Triton” nameplate signals a profound evolution, emphasizing that this is not merely an upgrade but an entirely new and enhanced driving experience.

Taking inspiration from Greek mythology, where Triton was the formidable god of the sea, the All-New Mitsubishi Triton pickup embodies power, performance, and elegance. Crafted to withstand challenging conditions, it represents ruggedness, reliability, and trustworthiness, promising secure and comfortable off-road adventures for families.

The exterior design of the All-New Triton boasts a more aggressive front fascia, complemented by cunning headlights and a massive square-shaped grille. Mitsubishi’s iconic Dynamic Shield Design completes the overall look, presenting a more formidable and dominating presence on the road.

Under the hood, the Triton offers two engine options. The newly developed 2.4-liter Bi-Turbo diesel engine, with a ‘two-stage’ turbo, delivers an impressive 201 horsepower and a maximum torque of 470Nm, making it more responsive and powerful than ever. Alternatively, a 2.4-liter turbocharged diesel mill with a scaled-down tune offers 180 horsepower and 430Nm of torque.

Rigorously tested for increased strength and reduced weight, the improved suspension design with a new shock-absorption system ensures excellent comfort even in harsh terrains. The Triton’s larger cargo bed space, with dimensions of 2340 (L) x 1580 (W) x 515mm (H), and a lower bed floor height of 821mm, enhances practicality, making loading and unloading easier and more convenient.

The Multi-Around View Monitor adds extra safety and confidence in maneuvering tight spaces.

To cater to diverse tastes, the all-new Mitsubishi Triton is available in seven color options, including White Diamond, Graphite Gray, Jet Black, Red Solid, White Solid, Silver Blade, and Yamabuki Orange.
