How time certainly flies, the current Nissan Almera has been on sale for 3 years already. To be quite honest we hadn’t noticed because, during our review of it earlier this year, it still felt quite new.
However, the brand begs to differ and has just updated the look of the Almera.
2023 Nissan Almera new look
Nissan chose to preview the updated look before it officially makes its public debut during the 2022 Miami Auto Show. The update is more centralized on the front fascia, by refreshing the patented ‘V-Motion’ design, the chrome accents flanking the Nissan badge have been taken out, and accentuating trim on the grille and right below the headlamps was used instead.
The Almera also sits on new-look 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, In the United States, the vehicle comes equipped with a 122hp 1.6-liter in-line-four engine that can be had with either a five-speed manual or an Xtronic CVT gearbox. We surmise though that when we do get the updated look locally, the current 1.0-liter turbocharged engine will be retained.
What do you guys think of the new look? and how soon do you think Nissan PH can bring it in?
