New 2024 Honda City just got a lot more safer with Honda SENSING, and you can reserve yours now
After 3 months since news of its update went online, the new Honda City is finally confirmed to make its way to the PH. Its official launch is set on July 13, 2023, and you can reserve your own unit until July 12 to get an exclusive introductory offer. But perhaps the biggest draw for the new City is that Honda is upping its safety with the inclusion of the SENSING safety suite across all its variants.

Yes, that’s right. With the addition of Honda SENSING, the Honda City is probably the safest vehicle in its segment. Mind you, the full safety suite is included in all 4 variants of the City, all of which are priced rather competitively at that.
Looking at its exterior, we can see that the City has received new front and rear bumpers, a redesigned grill, as well as new alloy wheels. The overall silhouette remains the same, but the latest release looks much more mature and sportier than its predecessor.

Inside you’ll find a digital gauge cluster as well as an 8″ touchscreen infotainment system that comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The entry-level E variant gets a different audio system, though.
Powering the new Honda City is the tried and tested 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine that makes 119 HP and gives 145 Nm of torque. No manual transmission options are available this time and all variants will be equipped with a CVT.

The 4 variants of the new Honda City and their promo pricing are as follows:
- 1.5 E CVT Honda SENSING (New Variant) = PHP 975,000
- 1.5 S CVT Honda SENSING = PHP 999,000
- 1.5 V CVT Honda SENSING = PHP 1,075,000
- 1.5 RS CVT Honda SENSING = PHP 1,130,000
The following colors will also be available: Ignite Red Metallic (RS CVT, V CVT, and S CVT), Obsidian Blue Pearl (New color; RS CVT and V CVT), Platinum White Pearl (RS CVT and V CVT), Taffeta White (S CVT and E CVT), Lunar Silver Metallic (S CVT and E CVT), and Meteoroid Gray Metallic (all variants). Those who opt for the white pearl color will have to add PHP 20,000 on top of the price tag.
From July 1 to 12, 2023, customers who reserve a Honda City are eligible for a Waived Reservation Fee worth PHP 5,000 for units purchased and released on or before August 31, 2023.
