Audi enthusiasts have reason to rejoice as the automaker unveils its latest iteration of the beloved S3 model, promising more power, precision, and personalization than ever before.
The heart of the S3 lies in its enhanced performance capabilities. With a robust 328 hp and 420 Nm of torque, the S3 packs a punch like never before. The 2.0 TFSI engine receives a boost, delivering an increase in horsepower and torque. This upgrade results in confident pulling power and swift acceleration, propelling the S3 from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. With maximum torque available across a wide rev range, coupled with a top speed limited to 250 km/h, the S3 ensures a more thrilling driving experience compared to before.
Building upon its predecessors, the new S3 boasts an advanced Quattro drive system with a torque splitter borrowed from its high-performance sibling, the RS3. This technology allows for fully variable torque distribution between the rear wheels, enhancing both agility and stability, especially in corners. Additionally, the Audi drive select mode now features a dynamic plus mode, offering heightened driving dynamics by maximizing torque distribution to the rear axle, resulting in precise handling and exhilarating performance.
To complement its enhanced power and agility, the S3 features optimized suspension components, including stiffer wishbones and new pivot bearings, ensuring improved steering response and increased lateral control. Larger brake discs on the front axle, along with upgraded calipers and pads, provide enhanced deceleration capabilities, essential for harnessing the S3’s increased driving dynamics.
Beyond performance enhancements, the S3 receives a refreshed exterior design, characterized by a wider and flatter Singleframe grille, accentuated by angular side air intakes, giving the S3 a more aggressive stance. A new rear bumper design, along with distinctive quad exhaust pipes, further enhances the S3’s sporty aesthetic.
Audi offers an array of personalization options for the S3, including a choice of expressive metallic finishes and up to four different daytime running light signatures, allowing drivers to tailor the S3 to their preferences.
Inside, the S3 boasts a sharpened interior design featuring updated elements such as a new shifter design, air vents, and decorative fabric inlays. The standard ambient light package adds a touch of sophistication, while the Audi virtual cockpit and MMI navigation plus provide seamless connectivity and navigation options.
The S3 is equipped with cutting-edge digital connectivity features, including DAB+ digital radio, Audi connect services, and access to a store for apps, ensuring drivers stay connected and entertained on the go.
There is no word yet on whether or not PGA Cars will bring the updated S3 to the Philippines, but judging by the lineup, the updated S3 could have a chance to make it in the country.
